In the beginning, I listen to my client for the brief and document dot points of requirements. Then comes the mockups for myself and my client to visualise what my design ideas are before starting the work. Once my client is happy with the concept, then we move to the next stage.
This stage of the design process I already have received approval from my client to go ahead after visualising the concept by a series of mockups. I discuss with my team the appeal and benefits or any shortcomings of the design to ensure that the brightest imput has been undertaken.
Then I move into planning the structure of my design based on the mockup. Which Adobe tool will I use for my project? For Photo Illustration and banners I use Photoshop and Illustrator. For Printed promotional material I use InDesign. For Web Design I use Dreamweaver or WordPress.
At the end of any project, after my project has been reviewed and discussed with my team, I document clearly for ongoing maintenance and hand over to my client. Upon feedback from my peers and my client I will make the necessary alterations and adjustments to make it just perfect for the overall function, form and look. I am always open to ongoing feedback to help my client and to build a reputation for great design.
